As I typed in 20 years of having a spare available, i fortunately have not had to make use of it, though I suspect I took a bit of a risk in typing that...!!! Yup, tyre repair goo and a compressor seems to be the way to go, perhaps best check the date on the tyre goo, as I think is may degrade with time...?
As for centrelocks, perhaps be grateful your fun car is not a Porsche with centrelocks, there seems to quite an expense in terms of equipment involved should a Porsche owner ever wish to remove a wheel, and where to fit the kit in the car would seem to be an issue..
I did have a puncture many years back on my 911, and the jack collapsed when the wheel was off...but that is just another story....!
