Hi all,

I'm still going through my (new to me) Plus 4...

In my car - the clutch pedal is flopped forward toward the driver quite a bit - still more forward than the brake pedal. It seems to me that they should both be in the same position looking at the parts diagram.

I was briefly down in the footwell to see if there is a set screw or some other retainer that is needed to secure the clutch pedal in some way - but I didn't find anything.

The clutch pedal functions fine otherwise - but I need to keep my foot on it to hold it in position so it's not flopped forward when driving.

Any idea from the group on a fix? I wonder if just lengthening the threaded clutch pivot/adjustment rod (part 11 in the diagram above) will bring the pedal back toward the firewall? Part 12 connects to the pedal. Will take a look and try that first.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
