Yes, and one of the reasons for that is that the mirrors are designed properly, with rubber mounts behind the glass (n the coupling to the stalk). Even formula 1 cars have side mirrors and they feel every little pebble on the track. Rally cars too. I think the only mirrors not suited for something like the M3W are mirrors intended for "classic cars" - reproductions and whatnot.

When I find out when the weight is down enough to give me a choice as to whether to register it here in Denmark or somewhere else, I'll order one. And I'll sure as hell get some mirrors (or one, at least) for it. I have no doubt that good mirrors with a stiff stalk (such as the ones in the OP) will do just fine.

Oh, btw, while my cell phone is crap in the sun and not even close to readable with sunglasses on, I have no problems reading my GPSMAP 62s in full sunlight. My Suunto watch is perfectly fine in the sun too, as is my Sound Devices 722 (audio) recorder. It has to do with contrast, basically.
