For me, that job goes to the Landy. Enormous fun to drive and capable of everything I could need - especially in this weather!

I did that for many years - my daily driver was a 1962 S2A (petrol). Great in all weathers, but the 55mph top speed was a little frustrating for other drivers, and the 14mpg was hard on the wallet. I gave up in the end and used to commute to school on the bike.

I converted to lpg which improved things, but access to pumps was limited and range was low. Should really have done a Tdi conversion.
