Good to hear we export* a lovely (nearly added to my list) cheese to France ..
Just enjoy the cheese and hope some of it is from goat milk …….and if you want to cheer the Maitre d up remind him that we in the U.K. retire much later than the French and you don’t support the new proposed ages in France. Your cheese plate will overflow

PS * hope Brexit did not make it so difficult that it has to be smuggled . Have to admit that I know ‘someone’ who has smuggled frozen bacon on short flight trips………!!
