Well, Ripping out the very vulnerable return edge on the chassis that it bolts too! this return edge forms a large part of the integral strength of the chassis and in fact stops it cracking vertically. You may have heard about the rear spring hanger U-bolts that if not fitted and shortened correctly can impact with this edge at the rear of the chassis and cause failures there. It was once common practice to drill access holes through this return edge to allow easy access to those outboard U-bolt nuts and in effect remove the integral strength of the chassis, Thank God for ratchet spanners!
