My P6 has also recently developed a creaking noise from the "dash area", apparent at anything other than a congestion crawl. It was serviced by MMC in March so, hopefully, the cord bonnet tape was lubricated (wonderful word) at that time. I'll give that another go and drop the steering column, but also I seem to recall neoprene on the rear corner of the bonnet was recommended in another thread so I will try that as well.
