Could it be that there is more water on the nearside of the road due to the camber ?
Exactly that, that's why the nearside king pin always wears first in my 20 years of Morganing.
All the ill fitting drain covers and poor highway maintenance appears first on the nearside verge and subsequently fills with water and general road sh1t of an abrasive nature, not rocket science is it
