Should the car be jacked up or on a bridge to dismantle the radiator grille ?
Not absolutely necessary but it makes access easier if you do.
Best way to cut the stainless steel mesh is to use an angle grinder with 100mm diameter slitting disk. Smooth off sharp edges with a file.
