The slightly harder ride could also be because the new CXV platform is 10% more rigid than the CX plaftorm. As with all open topped cars you often notice a difference in the ride between when the roof is down or up. As even a cloth roof when closed usually reduces the flex/scuttle shake in the chassis. I'm sure the Supersport will drive differently with the hardtop on, compared with the open car.
