iirc asking £140,000 - it was LHD, white with red RS decals, was a touring but had been made to look like a lightweight at some point.
The other 'miss' was being offered a 964 Turbo 3.6 with X88 kit from factory - in a beautiful colour - which was up for £50,000; however, the dealer wasn't keen on taking my 968 Club Sport in part ex, so I didn't pursue it. It was later owned by a Mr Button...
The '73 RS was a 911 that dealers couldn't give away at one point... "why would I want a 911 with less features" being the general criticism. I remember speaking to two dealers who had both bought tidy ones for circa £10,000 in the 80s.
964 Turbos are now stratospheric, with the 3.6 version being the most valuable of the 'non-special' 911 Turbos of that era. The film Bad Boys has a lot to answer for
