Mine hasn't so much lapsed as I wrote declining to renew.
I did something similar - emailed and said "please don't auto renew this year". Had an email back saying they'd cancelled the dd order and that correspondence would now end.
Thought it was quite telling - even when I unsubcribe from an email newsletter I get asked a few questions about why I no longer want to receive it. MSCC obviously weren't that bothered.
