You’re right Rich, Pollock is a bit of a bollock ……he is a good player although my wife who is more knowledgable than me in rugby matters, spots more issues, said Pollock was standing around to often waiting for a glory moment. He needs International game nouse instilled in him, educating.
My other issue is the held up rules. Don’t go over the line if you are not going to get the ball down. Cowan Dickie did this again yesterday as he did in another game.
This rule should be a scrum, advantage to the attacking team , accept even the defending !? It’s fine if a genuine tackle is made and the ball is held up but now I see players just going to ground so the ball carrier cannot get the ball down. This happened yesterday and happening too often.Players need to know they can ground, difficult in the moment but now so important to winning . Unfortunately this is not up for rules review.
