It works well, in RSA provided you got your speed right, normally around 60 you cruised off the top of the inevitable corrugations prior to a grading.

I taught my wife on them in our Holden Monaro GTS so she can and does drive anything back home - she had a shot at a Bedford TK Water Bowser on dirt roads and loved it but she is very different and thrives on challenge.
