A lovely bike.. I had a 69 standard daytona in a photochromic blue, wrote it off in 1974 on a sweeping left hander when I hit black ice. Loved that bike and Triumphs metallic colours of the period. I have a 77 750 bonnie in Triumphs Cherokee Red, another photochromic period colour..
The daytona came from Tauntons BSA/Triumph/Norton dealer Vincent and Jerrom located in East Reach.. the shops smell of new bikes, rubber, castrol oils and leather still lingers in my mind... great days.
