I assume this is because they have US homologation for the Plus Four with the same engine.
I think this is spot on.
So, in effect, the CXV chassis is permitted in the US.
On a factory tour last year I asked if the Plus Four might become available with the CXV chassis and the answer was "unlikely, because of US homologation for the CX chassis". Seems that argument is out of the window.
