I don't suppose you can remember the fault code Andrew thinking. At a guess maybe O2 sensor 1 although engine would be in open loop under such conditions.


Slight thread drift.... Sorry Dave... As I have previously mentioned I do follow a young lady on You Tube as she m/cycles solo around the world, and into all sorts of road and off road conditions from jungles to deserts and everything in between..... For her current escapade through the Stans, China, and across Mongolia, deserts and all, she chose to ditch modern tec and went back to a pre digital Yamaha in the hope of increased reliability by way of fewer things to go wrong....which overall seems to have worked out rather well, if interested you might like to beam up Itchy boots to get an idea of what she is about...?
