Couple more deaths that I care about . Rod Little, bright and funny bloke but like many didn’t agree with everything he expressed. He did challenge much political sloppy thinking and was a wordsmith. Wondered why his column in the Sunday Times was missing for a few weeks - illness I now understand - I shall miss the pointed humour .
And now Tim Curry. He looked ill recently. Takes me back to my youth when I went many times to see The Rocky Horror Show
at the Odeon (?) on the Kings Road …..the satanic machanic, sweet transvestite now gone home ! Had fun watching the film over the years especially once lying on bean bags in a cinema in Monterey or was it Carmel, California, a long time back.
Another close rugby friend, news today no improvement, probably in his last weeks and I hope to get home in time to see him, Makes you value each day especially when you are in the fourth quarter.
