No. I was marshalling Prescott Drivers' School yesterday. Well, marshalling?? More like trying not to drown. First job on arrival - there's a tree down on the return road. An hour later: Err, there's a tree down on the return road... In future I will wear a plaid shirt when attending my local Hill Climb course. And a wetsuit...

As someone else has said - if you're not sure about any of this mechanicing bit, ask at your local MSCC gathering - you'll probably have difficulty finding space under your car to see what all the guys are doing...
