I have no idea what you are suggesting there but I can assure you that Andrew English does not make up quotes. It is excellent that Morgan is apparently beginning to pay closer attention to the views of its customers.

However, I do think (not only because of this particular remark about "moaning") that Mr Morris could benefit from a course in the art of diplomatic language. Perhaps Boshly, who is apparently close to the factory, could talk to him about this.

Before taking delivery of my car I was pretty worried about the suspension issues, and I've posted some pretty critical things about my impressions of MMC and their handling of the matter here at TM. I felt that considering the high cost of the M3W relative to the components involved, that the car should have been engineered correctly, many owners have posted videos and images showing steering deflection with suspension compression. I interpreted the objective evidence to suggest a fundamental design flaw.

Now that I've had my car for over a week I feel compelled to state that I really haven't experienced any serious bump steer issues. My car has a build date on the second week of October 2013 and appears to have the "old" Spax setup:

I had the car on the track the day after it was delivered, and other than the hilarious turning radius, didn't note any real issues.

One caveat, the roads I've been on are pretty good, no real potholes or frost heaves (Texas!) so it's possible that I just haven't encountered a road bad enough to manifest the problem. It's also worth noting that the car and I don't know each other well enough yet for me to have gotten close to the limit, perhaps I'll discover issues as I start pushing the car more, but at this point and 214 miles later I frankly have no issues with the suspension, and I am surprised and happy that this is the case (My bevel box is also dead quiet...).

Just my 2 cents...my advice to folks still on the fence about ordering a M3W for fear of "bump steer" is to take a long test drive on bumpy roads and see if you notice any issues, frankly you may not notice any, at this point I haven't...

I swear I haven't been paid off by MMC or the devs but I've been in the complaining camp for a while now and felt it only proper to set the record straight on my own experience.

Now if we could only do something about all those rattles...

My closeness comes from buying buying 4 cars in 5 years from MMC thereby contributing a good few of Her Majesty's finest (I dare not add it all up) to the MMC coffers. Some feel that this is a cause of much mirth I simply smile (when I'm not making scarcy comments back )
