Just back from Dartmouth............
Great Job OZ, I like the vents.
To all the complaining Roadster owners, the S1 has a very tidy underbonnet area on both sides, and is much less prone to the engine warning light coming on.
That's why the S1 rules.

They have a nice looking Connaught Green Roadster currently in stock. 2006 and less than 5k miles.
Tasty, but Stanley can rest easy in the garage, as no plans to change. Time to enjoy, put it off and regret it, live for now, you know it makes sense

Wow Peter, it's a small world... Thanks for that explanation Oz. Very interesting.
When I was working for North Sydney Council in the 60's I came acrosss a workshop that had 3 or 4 Bugattis in the yard. Ther owner of the workshop told me he was a specialist who maintained most of the Bugattis in the Sydney area and was very pleased to show me the cars and tell me all about them. I have wanted one ever since but they were, and still are, quite out of my reach.

Getting it right first time would be good...  What do you think the response would be? Since you are so fastidious they may has the pen size and colour to be used to get it right first time?

Time to resurrect this (rambling) thread, after the recent discussions and experiences with water in the plug holes. In theory it shouldn't happen because the Duratec cover has a raised lip around each plug hole. I suspect that a fine spray settles on the rubber plug caps and over time drips around the seals into the holes. Once in, its a reasonably sealed environment so even when it gets hot, the water won't easily dry off. So I've made a front baffle plate - and am now seriously in need of some more aluminium sheet.............. First the basic shape.  Brackets test fitted.   Covered with Reflect a Cool, top seal fitted in neoprene.  It sits quite well on the two cam cover studs so rather than mess with tiny nuts, I've held it in place with two lengths of rubber tube which are a snug fit over the studs - visible here. (Will pull off with needle nosed pliers).  Hey Presto!
