Got bored and decided to come up with a solution for holding the sat nav that does not rely on maintaining a cooperative passenger. I made up two bungee mounting bobbins on my lathe that use the existing gearbox trim fixings. 4 aircooled cylinders, 7 tires, not waterproof: my m3w Bluebelle (2013) and my 2CV Gundel (1990)

Nice solution, looks like you have had some re-trimming done on the tunnel? I don't really want to alter the leather work though  Steve

yes, the tunnel was changed, but the satnav sits on a aluminium plate, fixed to the tunnel with selfadhesive velcro, there are no bolts.
