I think for that money I'd go and get an Eagle restored early E Type.

Then I begin to think what could be achieved by spending £300K re-building and "restoring" Aldermog in the same way.

Oh, sorry, just realised that is what I started doing when I fitted Suplex front suspension. So perhaps Aldermog is a "Work in Progress" re-engineering of Morgan's classic.

It certainly won't cost me £300K,

A great product of real craftsmanship but it's not for me even at £120k

I agree with you. I do rather like it but at that price? I'd much rather buy an original at that price!!

I suppose thats the problem with handmade cars like that, the price of hand crafting will be high and they will need a decent return on each sale. Tony Hunters (of Mog around the Med fame) Bentley evocations are a similar price but a bit more special.

It would be interesting to see what Morgans own "R&D" dept budget is compared to this ? pale It must be quite a challenge.

You're not wrong there. As we all know, a yacht is a hole in the water lined with wood, metal or composite into which one tips wheelbarrows full of cash.

Still love the Spirit yachts mind you.

I'd play with one of these and spend the rest of it in running costs - well before the Lib Dem Loonies get their way.

p.s. Very pretty boat but I don't like anything about being on the sea - looking out my bedroom window at it is near enough for me.
