I think that looks great on your M3W. Is your red a red tri-coat pearl? Very beautiful color.
Thanks for posting the pictures. The colour (or color) is a Jaguar one, Bordeaux Red, usually seen on 1980's XJ6. It is a very fine metalic. It looks old from a distance but new on closer inspection, a bit like the M3W. I will check out the suitability of Rain X for the plastic before I use it, thanks for that.

Yes the tonneau still fits and the front fasteners are still difficult to get to. The centre stud is missing at the moment until I get the longer threaded one from Fairbournes.
