As someone said before, they made a pedal change out in November 2012. This is the 2011 to Nov 2012 pedal assembly.  This is the revised pedal assembly for November 2012 and on. I would have to assume that this is the current assembly in new M3W's.  All of the aftermarket pedal assemblies that I've researched have the brake rod and clutch rod clevis directly attached to the pedals and does not rely on a secondary shaft or lever to actuate either master cylinder. The original M3W design was very poor and I could see a recall to retrofit the new style direct coupled rod to pedal style. Granted there was probably a flaw in the weld of the secondary lever, but it did fail and this could have be a deadly failure. Count your blessings that it happened when it did. You can see on the revised November 2012 and on that at least the brake rod is attached to the pedal and no secondary lever to rely on. My pedal assembly, or at least the throttle, does not resemble either of those. Sorry about the blurrysnap... My M3W left the factory in September 2013, build no. 931. So presumably this Mk III version was introduced some time between December 2012 and September 2013. Do you have a photo of the broken pedal, HJP? http://s25.postimg.org/igcg3ubof/IMG_0368.jpg

Actually your go pedal does look very similar to the Nov '12 revision assembly, albeit the angle back may be a bit more in your case. But that could just be the throttle cable setup requires that angle. Either way it looks like yours is the safe setup for the brake rod. As far as the clutch using an offset clevis to the inside of the clutch pedal, it's probably not an issue because the pedal probably bottoms out on the assembly before the master cylinder does. Also there's not that much force for the clutch compared to the manual brakes the M3W has. Thanks for your picture.

Well, that's a reassuring analysis. However, I think my "go pedal" is different from the Nov '12 revision in two respects: it is angled to the right and it does not have the bend (and what looks like a weld) in the middle. And as I have previously mentioned, I have no complaints about my pedals, despite my Bigfoot Syndrome.

I think that the picture I posted above has a bit of optical allusion in that you don't see readily the bend in the go pedal; outward at the bottom and then back in at the top to even the pads out like in your picture. You can see in you picture that the clutch and brake have one centerline and the go pedal has a narrower one, but the pads are still equal distance. The picture below shows the same equal spaced pads with the narrower centerline on the go pedal like your picture shows.  So all this leads me to believe that there are only two pedal assemblies, before November '12 and after November '12. Yours obviously looks to me to be the latter.
