Our trips to Plymouth are usually related to using Brittany Ferries, (though we have attended the Radio Devon Car Show on the Hoe) Always a few interesting sights when you leave the ferry port on a Friday or Saturday evening and drive out along Union Street.
Went for a brief drive and ended up doing 50 miles. Just perfect hood down weather. Route included a drive past The Old Rectory in Stoke Lacy which was the home of HFS Morgan when he built the first three wheeler. The house is up for sale to anyone with half a million to spend.
Just back from Jakarta and Bangkok so today was gardening AKA power tools vs green stuff cutting it all back. But I did get 1 hr fettling bits of the new Roadster. Sunday will go driving around the Chilterns!!!

We headed all the way up the Exe Valley today towards Dunster, with a tea stop at Bampton. Saw a red 4/4 heading towards us travelling south, just north of Tiverton. Also saw a lovely silver XK120. About 100 miles mainly in the sunshine.
We have family in Sidmouth and often visit. However today I headed up to North Devon. Watchet, Minehead, Lynmouth and back to Taunton. Beautiful roads and weather. Saw a cream plus 4 in Lynmouth and a green 4/4 heading into Minehead. Beats working.
Hope we might see you tomorrow at Wiscombe
Well what a glorious day at Wiscombe Park. I came down to the paddock at lunchtime to meet you all but there was no sign of you at your car. I passed a blue Morgan in Honiton in the morning and met a very happy owner of 2014 M3W in the top car park.
Nice tour of the Cotswolds today. Shipston,(liked the irony of the Big Issue seller behind the Lambo)Moreton, Stowe, Slaughters, Bourton (Bit cheeky- parked outside the little museum and on the way out came across the nice people of Sherwood Forest group), Broadway and back to Stratford Upon Avon for some well earned beers!
2021 Lapis Blue Plus 6 You know it makes sense! 2016 Carmine Red 991.2 C4S
Must investigate some of this in September. Not an area I know.
As for driving today, well the mower has had a bit of a workout, together with the strimmer. The garden recycling bin is almost full. Should have attended to some hardwood window frames, but sitting on the patio with a scrumpy after the above took over
