Our trips to Plymouth are usually related to using Brittany Ferries, (though we have attended the Radio Devon Car Show on the Hoe)
Always a few interesting sights when you leave the ferry port on a Friday or Saturday evening and drive out along Union Street.

Far East?

I am in Malaysia for a week and as usual during my trips away Mog Owners Club in NSW has scheduled a run. I think they do it deliberately!

So Violetta will remain unloved and undriven for two weeks.

Much as I love TM, it is a poor substitute for driving one.

Enjoy!

Lovely inland run to Kingsbridge from Stoke Fleming (home) and along the coastal road and Slapton Line to home.

Waved to a lovely Mk1 Triumph 2000 Estate and he reciprocated.

The rest of the evening and tomorrow will be spent with my lovely wife at the Dartmouth Music Festival now in it's 17th year and as good as ever.

Pete G - don't want to get too far East feels like Somerset down Exeter way grin2

Went for a brief drive and ended up doing 50 miles.
Just perfect hood down weather.
Route included a drive past The Old Rectory in Stoke Lacy which was the home of HFS Morgan when he built the first three wheeler.
The house is up for sale to anyone with half a million to spend.

We headed all the way up the Exe Valley today towards Dunster, with a tea stop at Bampton. Saw a red 4/4 heading towards us travelling south, just north of Tiverton. Also saw a lovely silver XK120. About 100 miles mainly in the sunshine.
drive

Beats working. drive

Hope we might see you tomorrow at Wiscombe

Well what a glorious day at Wiscombe Park. I came down to the paddock at lunchtime to meet you all but there was no sign of you at your car.
I passed a blue Morgan in Honiton in the morning and met a very happy owner of 2014 M3W in the top car park.

Nice tour of the Cotswolds today. Shipston,(liked the irony of the Big Issue seller behind the Lambo)Moreton, Stowe, Slaughters, Bourton (Bit cheeky- parked outside the little museum and on the way out came across the nice people of Sherwood Forest group), Broadway and back to Stratford Upon Avon for some well earned beers!

Must investigate some of this in September. Not an area I know.

As for driving today, well the mower has had a bit of a workout, together with the strimmer. The garden recycling bin is almost full. Should have attended to some hardwood window frames, but sitting on the patio with a scrumpy after the above took over grin2
