Melmerby - noted Ken, thanks. And yes, will turn NW again at Aslton, though if there is time I may take another look at the narrow gauge (and a cuppa!).
J, thanks! You all have a safe trip to the races
Keith, with that sort of offer, I might just spin down one sunny day in the 4/4

Just back from a 1000 mile round trip of the Welsh coast and Marches. 10 different hotels in 12 nights. Only had the hood up once for half an hour. Absolutely glorious.
Did you make it out to the Skelligs ? (not in the Mog, obviously). When we tried (years ago when I was a kid) it was too rough to get off the boat. The thing I best remember about the Kerry coast was the gannets diving for fish.
A shortish but lovely run out on Saturday for me. A local non-profit organization I'm involved with had a strategy workshop session all day, in a beautiful spot at the foot of the Niagara escarpment west of Toronto. Our host, a sculptor, knew a thing or two about LBCs (North American acronym for Little British Cars) and was fascinated by the Morgan; he'd never seen one in the flesh before. Offering him a quick blast around the surrounding countryside was a wise move: as a long-time resident and old-car enthusiast he introduced me to a new road or two in the area. One of them is (almost) on the way to a regular destination so will become a detour of choice, I suspect!
