Can I suggest that it might be worth a chat with Newtown Motors (01633 485251, Peter Constable) for advice. They have a good reputation as Morgan Dealers, but the company also runs Nissan & Vauxhall franchises so will have access and expertise in Extended Warranties. Most manufacturer backed products are available for other brands.
Worth a try?

Actually, I don't think that matters, as, in the UK at least, it would be covered by 'fit for purpose' for virtually all of its' life.

Paul that sounds reasonable. A chassis should not break at any age or mileage assuming its not corroded.

Mike I am well aware of the problem. I said they should not break, do you disagree?

Mike, I think what Tim means is that a chassis should not break at all, so if it does, then it isn't fit for purpose, and should be replaced by the supplying dealer, or the manufacturer.
Edited to add: Sorry Tim you got in first, we agree...

I'm not sure a warranty would be much use on a 3W. All policies exclude items that are classed as 'wear and tear'. That is pretty much everything on these.

I think the only warranty with any real benefit will be something set up with the Morgan Motor Company. I would be happy to pay say£300 for an extra 2 years cover from them.
With other independent warranties there will be so many grey areas on which they will be able to get out of paying up on.

I still cannot believe that the early M3W's can't be reinforced properly to strength the problem areas.
If one side cracks and breaks, the other side will at some time.
The Liberty had a front upper brace from frame horn to frame horn. I think I saw that the lower frame horns were also braced across the center.
But I believe that something can be done on the upper rear frame horns to gusset them or brace from one side to the other. With proper bracing I would think the chassis would be good and no worries later on.

It's not that the early 2012 chassis can't be braced, they can, quite easily, it's all about access, as the bodywork needs to be removed to get to it, and possibly the engine too. This is a huge amount of work.
The factory were aware of the problem very early on, I've heard that at least one early dealer demonstrator chassis broke, and they used small gussets to beef up the chassis on 2013 cars, although I don't know of any breakages yet, this was super ceded by proper triangulation for the '14 model year. Incidentally, as far as I can see, this is the only proper triangulation on the whole car, it seems the factory designers decided not to triangulate the chassis at all for some reason?
