Thanks for your kind comments, yes i'm pleased with it so far, have to cut another hole in it yet for the clock and then I think its ready for wiring up and fitting up with my existing gauges etc.
Total costs I reckon will be £100 - £150 (including the dash panel, lights, switches and laser cutting etc) so not so bad..

Another thought, while I have the dash in bits ought I change the gauge bulbs to LED's ?

Another thought, while I have the dash in bits ought I change the gauge bulbs to LED's ? Given the lack of illumination from the bulbs probably worth a try...I wonder if the "dimmer" would work and better, or worse or at all. I know some LEDs are dimmable and others are not, but don't kow wht.

I might not bother with the dimmer... Always on 'max' anyway!

So 'new' dash is in. A few tricky bits sorting out the change from rocker to flip switches and the first led warning lamps were rubbish so had to upgrade to some better but bigger ones. A small fire, but otherwise all in and working!

A big improvement - that looks like the dash format which lasted until 2006.Very nice job!
