I have the 2014 urban cooling kit installed. When the ventilator runs, it blows against the driving direction of the car. What about yours, is this a bug in wiring or a feature?

I think that would be all right, as it will click into operation only when the machine is stationary or running at very low speed.

The fan is a pusher not a puller?

Wiring such a unit is easy,

But my question is

Where does it wire to,to make it click into operation when stationary or running very slow.

Perhaps it is the back of the engine that needs the extra air flow but it does seem a bit strange. An email to Morgan Customer Support might be in order.

I am certain that it is designed to Blow air onto the back of the engine, not suck it through from the front. As mentioned above, it only does it's thing when slow or stationary, so it should be effective this way.

Well, in that case, bang goes my good idea to vent the hot air drawn from the cylinders into the footwells for winter heating. Darn. irked

Unless.... a switch can be wired into the circuit to reverse the polarity? smirk2

If you switch the wires, you can reverse the direction..but it also depends on the fan blades..
There are 3 types of fans..reversable, pullers & pushers.

What type of fan is it?

Driving slow & it pushes the air the opposite direction of the airflow doesnt seem that effective..

But when stationary i guess its ok

If you want it to pull perhaps you could reverse the wiring and the fan on the shaft. Why not go the whole hog & mount a really big one on the rear for quiet running when you want to sneak in late engine off, a bit like a Florida air boat. I claim the design rights.
