Has anyone remapped their 4/4 Sigma yet?
I believe it can be sent away and done by return of post.
It just needs torque or 4th and 5th are pointless. An idea might be to remove those two gears and save weight!
I've changed exhaust and will do induction as soon as I can get the right kit.
I just can't justify the throttle bodies.
2022 Plus Four, 2023 Super Three, Range Rover Vogue SDV8 and Triking T3.

Donald - get R.P. to install a 4.11 diff. Makes a huge difference.

Donald - Jeremy (WR142LL) had the first remap that Williams did on the Sigma ECU and seems to be very happy with it. Jays also did the TB on his 4/4 Sport but I think you will find he said it wasn't worth it as it made it less manageable lower down & constantly had to be revved hard. I think he thought that going for the 4.1.1 axle would have been better money spent but perhaps he can confirm.

The best mod was the change to 4.1:1 diff....it transformed the use of 5th gear in particular and did nor funnily enough affect economy. I'd also fit a decent air filter set up like Cains, together with free flowing sports exhaust followed by a remap. The throttle bodies sounded glorious but the performance increase does not justify the cost.

Caution my 4.1:1 diff "rings" a bit, but does transform how the car drives.

is it a different gear box at the rear axle?

Hi Ralf, it just refers to the reduction ratio of the differential gear in the rear axle - for every 4.1 turns of the propellor shaft, the rear axle shafts make a single turn. Morgan fitted several different rear axles with different ratios, and this is the lowest of all of them. It means the cars are relatively low-geared, giving a very sporty feel. The higher ratios give a more relaxed cruise. For a 4/4, I think the 4.1 : 1 ratio is by far the best...
