I can't see why Morgan would discontinue the 3W anytime soon
If they are predominantly made to order why discontinue anything unless it's replaced with an updated or modified version

As 2014 winds down, has there been any news on any changes to the 2015 model year. It seems that interest in the 3W is decreasing and I would not be surprised by 2016 if they discontinued the 3W. I hope not, I have been loving mine and think every human should have one.
Ordered mine in April and still awaiting delivery. If that's any indication, I doubt that interest is decreasing.

for whatever it's worth morgan doesn't traditionally release cars/updates per model year as the changes are usually more organic and are happening all the time. if you put two 2013 cars that were built 6 months a part side by side and really looked them over you'll see that things have changed throughout the year in regards to how they build them. 2014 of course was a different story and thats when the model year update was pushed hard but i think in general they change them as they see fit throughout the year.

On the subject of delivery dates, I'm not so sure it is necessary to order and wait 6 - 9 months. Surely just a ring around the dealers will find one or two with almost immediate build slots?
My initial feeling over 2 years ago was that Morgan should be playing the long game and keep customers waiting, not have dealers with unsold build slots devaluing the brand. Maybe 6 - 8 years was pushing it a bit, but a year or so would not harm, and then when the customer took delivery they would immediately order another one for 12 months delivery, with the assured knowledge that they could sell the one year old car for what it cost them. It worked then and it could work again.

It's not easy to do this in the U.S. since dealers are spread so far apart. The dealer nearest me (170 miles away) didn't have any unsold build slots, but a dealer over 1000 miles away did. I decided to go with my "local" dealer and patiently wait for a build slot to open up.

This is also one of the issues for non UK agents as the parts dptmt of MMC seems to be totally out of sync with development and do not know what parts a particular car was made off. They send some over by courrier, then if not good or some other missing, another courrier and so on.. It can take weeks to get the right fit of parts for a repair. MMC are making their lives more complicated with this and losing a lot of money on courrier + frustration of agents and of course end customer....

Just one of the spinning plates: the solution is easy with procedures for control of part numbers and electronic build books. The build books record the chassis no and contains a breakdown of parts included. Problems start when parts are changed but keep the part numbers or the build book is not updated.

Is the rumour that the M3W is being fitted with hydraulic jacks (to allow easy changing of the rear wheel) true?
The automatic electric roof that would guarantee a much higher centre of gravity is probably not going to happen now I have heard.
Let's hope the lightweight version with a reliable engine and other reliable bits is the next plan - really don't know why they didn't aim for this in the first place.
But perhaps, in the real world, how about LED lights throughout (to ease the power drain), oil temperature display, fuel gauge sender that delivers a more useful indication of fuel, better boot clips that don't stretch, aftermarket dampers that fit and work (if you can't actually deliver decent suspension on the core model), and a mudguard system for the rear wheel are a sensible and manageable set of targets?? Oh, and push S&S to sort out the silly issues with what we all once thought was a bulletproof engine but now seems rather bullet-prone.
Amazes me that CM got his early M3W across the States and not surprised his wife didn't want to go near it again afterwards.
Still love mine though!

The problem with the auto roof wasn't so much the higher centre of gravity, as both motors and the extra battery were down quite low, but more the extra windage at motorway speeds in a cross wind, which caused some problems on the mule, I understand. You would've thought that the engineers would have thought of that, wouldn't you. [Sorry Morgan, couldn't help myself ].

I myself had an experience in a crosswind on wet highway, I went to 135kmh drift happily gliding was finished by releasing the accelerator gently, now I made attetion by strong crosswind by time rain.
