Guys,
TBs are amazing but it is a lot of money. Amazing - yes Lot of money - depends on your comparison. Adding TBs to a 4/4 is still a cheaper way of getting to c. 150 bhp than trading across to a +4 (and the power-to-weight is better to boot)

True, but the Plus4 will have a lot more torque. I was disappointed with my AR fitted throttle bodies on my 4/4 Sport. Sounded glorious but was a very expensive way of generating more noise.

I didn't fit Throttle Bodies to create waves of torque lower down the Rev band they were fitted for top-end excitement and performance ( and a lovely sound).
Many of today's " normal" cars are built around torque I.e. big diesels with turbos- few are designed around high revving engines.
Throttle Body driving is a very different experience- and one which I very much enjoy and am very pleased I spent the money on.
If people are looking for lbs of torque low down in a 4/4 - don't fit Throttle Bodies.

(and the power-to-weight is better to boot) Not if you have the narrow bodied + 4 Wow - what are those standard wings made of? The narrow bodied Plus 4 lost 82kgs in Dry Vehicle Weight by trimming an inch or so off the front and rear wing width...?
