I fitted Cibie spots, attached on sturdy bumper brackets. wired via a reply, and come-on on full beam. Fitted with 'Night Breaker' bulbs, they turn nighttime into day. +1 Cibie Oscar Plus but fitted to an on off switch + main beam, Covered when not in use, Mine are fitted to aluminium brackets that bolt to the wing, with stays from the spot light to the wing. https://www.flickr.com/photos/116051653@N07/12266918625/ Will be fitting 9" Super Oscar soon. Roger, thank you and I could get to the pics. I can't tell however from this oblique view if the badge bar is longer than mine. I am concerned that the lights are to far inboard, and will obscure the grill and thus the cooling. Do you have a straight on shot, or what is your thought on my concern??
Cheers,
Mark

David I had lights fitted to the R100. I have a special stainless steel bracket supplied and fitted by Phil Ledgerwood, it is specially shaped and designed to fit behind the number plate box, he had a few made but not sure if he has any left. This saves the body being drilled and the lights are firm, with no movement.
Maybe worth giving him a call

Mark - I can't seem to find a picture at the moment straight on at the moment. However, I think the badge bar I've used is 21" long and with the Wipac lamps only being 5" diameter it is possible to set the brackets at a point where they interfere with the flow of air through the radiator grill. To be honest, there is more interference with the badges than the lamps!

The Ledgerwood bracket is really well designed.

Thank you everyone.
Have e-mailed Phil Ledgerwood to see if his kit is still available.

Agree about the bulbs in the headlights , difficult to see when on dipped lights especially , plus dazzle from oncoming cars due to a Morgan being low down , will try upgrading bulbs first as its the dipped lights issue that's the problem .

I had added this drivelights to the Roadster, same items as mounted on a P4SS, and yes, drilled into the wings. The difference to the P4SS is that concerning the P4SS this lights have to be switched on and off via a toggle independently of the actual light configuration. So to use it you have to fiddle with this toggle. Going another route my dealer fitted this drive lights on the Roadster in a way you can switch them on and off generally via a free button (used in other cars for AC). And when switched on via this button they beam together only with the high beam position of the regular lights and when using the flash.

That's the thing with the spots , they need to work in concert with the headlamps easily , and you still need lots of light when on dipped beam as this is when it gets difficult to see. Fantastic pic of your Mog there !
