So great run out in the sunshine today, but nippy around the old lug holes mind you. About 100 miles round the Monmouthshire valleys, not much traffic about which was good but saw just 1 top down MX5 , not a sign of a Brit or classic anywhere.

No classics or decent cars all the way down to Cranfield dealer breakfast and then masses of Mogs in the car park ! Scalextric competition won by chap who had very limited experience but beat everyone , toblerone prize ! Great hospitality by Allon White , thank you very much indeed - mince pies , hot baps and bacon , choc bics , coffee .......

Perhaps Tarka was getting otter than he should   Looks like he doesn't like Shell Ultimate fuel.... The OBD reader says "misfire".... Back to BP I think.

Perhaps Tarka was getting otter than he should Looks like he doesn't like Shell Ultimate fuel.... The OBD reader says "misfire".... Back to BP I think. Perhaps he needs a really fast run to clear his tubes  I'm available at a moments notice to take on that type of commission

Went out this afternoon for a run around Cheshire lanes in the sunshine. Cold but great run. Had to move 3 cars around. The courtyard before going out. The BMW said it was 3.3C, the TT said it was 5.5C and the LandRover said it was 8C - the Morgan just said it was cold! No idea what it was but all wrapped up and heater on - warm as toast.

Went out this morning roof off, side screens on, silly hat on, gloves on, and I kept telling myself careful with the right foot as it rained lightly in the night and was still only 3 degrees so possibly the odd slippy patch about. Lovely drive over to Axminster, hair trim and then popped into to Neilm for a cuppa and MR2 action plan chat for next season. Then home and put up some Xmas lights, much to the delight of the neighbours. Oh by the way, just a reminder to check your tyre pressures, I did mine before I went out and with the temperature being 12 degrees lower than recently they all needed 3-4psi.

Pleasant drive to Rockbeare for the Fossilmog Christmas lunch.
Good turn out, with 35 diners in a dozen Morgans and a few tin tops. Drove back over Woodbury Common as darkness fell.
Stanley will need a good clean.
