Sorry to be a bit of a "spotter" but I think you will find that is a Hawker Nimrod, not a Fury. It's got a big hook under it for carrier landings.

One of the prettiest jet trainers ever - it's a Magister I think. :xmascheers:

Back in the 1960's I saw the French Air Force Aerobatic team demonstrate them to good effect at an open day at RAF Coltishall.

More like a Boulton and Paul Defiant Nightfighter this one from a French Morgan friend. It would have to be black of course - if I'm allowed to say that now....

If any body is interested the CAA have changed the rules on warbird flying, from Feb 2015 you can pay for a passenger flight in one.eg spitfire. At a price. google www intotheblue.co.uk for prices. no personal connection.
