Hello all,
I just pulled out of the garage my lovely Three Wheeler for a ride after few months.
Low batt, then a bit slow to fire in this cold weather...eventually it started and I took place for a short tour.
The engine struggled a bit to rev' up but I thought it is still cold and didn't run for some time so I continued, then I saw the engine warning light coming up when I release the throttle above 2500rpm.
The car was running smooth and sounded good, so I decided to continue driving it...
The other issue I noted was the engine being "choked" if I kick down the throttle at reasonably low rev.
I am thinking about a lambda sensor issue, what do you think ? Any similar problem ? The ride was around 10 minutes, so I may need to run it longer ?

When you say "cold weather" would it be cold enough to ice up any of the inlet system? It happened to me a couple of years back when I took the Three Wheeler out on New Years day.
I don't think Lambda sensors normally give too much trouble.

Thank you for sharing the feedback PaulJ.
It was -6°C so it could ice something yes...
I found some thread on the forum talking about a faulty ECU showing engine warning light when the driver stop accelerating.
I will try to acces the diagnostic with ProTune II tomorrow.

I'm just returning from a short roundtrip with the M3W. It's -4 degrees and the starting process was time consuming. Took 3 longer attemts to get the engine running. I was already afraid the battery may not have enough capacity, but the battery was strong. No problem with the oil or cold air. I use 98 oktan petrol.
Was fun to drive but on the slippery roads I had to be careful to keep the rear wheel on track...
