It was/is a Triking review!And quite a good commercial for them too!
The prices mentioned in 1983 are interesting....£6.5K for a Tri and £10K for a Morgan.
Now £21/22K for the Triking and £32K for the M3W....and a whopping £38K+ for an original Morgan!!

Very much enjoyed watching that, and aside from the Triking feature I loved all the bike stuff - really took me back to when I were a lad. The exciting new developments of the day such as 16' front wheel, radial tyres for bikes, single shock rear end & so on....

The 3 wheeler review is kind of relevant to this Forum, and yes i know it wasn't a Morgan.
I posted this vintage Top gear up with original presenters just to jog memories, I don't remember this particular episode, but it does takes me back!

Great find Kin, these three wheelers are most certainly distant cousins and the DNA is clear to see. Fabulous looking back in time to the days when top gear was a proper motoring/motorcycling program.
