When I bought mine it has 3 years and 9.000 km. I had to fix a lot of things in the very beginning. Lot of them because of the garage sleeping. From when I use it on a regular basis I have much less problems and I enjoying it. Now with something like 37.000 km (if I remember right).

Ian (Shooter) used 'Black Demon' as a daily driver for many years and iirc had put a serious amount of miles on it.
Richard (mr_tony) had over 45,000 miles on his Aeromax, iirc, when he sold it last year and achieved close to £100,000 for it.
As for what will wear, the areas that seem to suffer are where metal meets metal and the rubber seals have perished or moved. These have all been spoken about on the site in various topics but they seem to occur around the lights and where the wings meet the body below the doors. Cars who have lived a pampered life (not been used when there is salt on the roads or in heavy rain) tend to suffer a lot less with this particular issue. It can be solved easily (a local area repaint) but the ideal solution is to replace the seals in the relevant area (to keep the two different metals apart and hence stop the electrolytic reaction) and then repaint.
Aero products are pretty bullet proof once any new build teething issues are resolved.
...I did just think of one reoccurring issue! The crappy door pins that turn on the interior lights and also cause the window to drop/raise-to-seal depending on the position of the door. Whomever provides these should be ashamed... they are the cheapest, most unreliable, part on the car. It is an easy fix but if you find your window isn't sealing, this is almost always the issue.
Although the Plus 8 has the door switches all they do is turn on the almost useless LED footwell lights.
I've been putting ACF50 on to the wing/body joints and the rear lights are totally different, so I hope not to have that problem.
When you compare with other 10 to 15 year old cars the Aeros hold up very well, from the two I know well. So 100,000 miles may not be much of an issue and I'm only expecting £50K when I sell it!

Quick correction - my Aeromax had done only around 25k miles total I've done more than 50k miles in Aetos, but spread across 4 cars. S1,s2,s4,Aeromax...
Figure shooter will have the highest mileage here on a single car..
Not an Aero - but Nick Charlesworth has a1966 4 seater +4 - done 350,000 miles on the clock - at least - it was his dad`s car early on and on limited mileage insurance - but unfortunately there were problems when the mileometer became disconnected at times!! so 350k is a low estimate. My 4/4 sport is 4 years old and done 18,200 so a long way to go to catch up Had it out today topless for the first time in a couple of weeks - great to blow the cobwebs away. As you may know, I think Morgans are to be enjoyed and to enjoy them they need to be used (IMHO- of course).Off to the Donmog Noggin tonight in it - so a few more smiles on the clock.

Here is a picture of tlLB sat in Nick's car at Portsmouth prior to LMC 2014. Epic car and epic bloke. Lots of red wine consumed whilst waiting for the ferry. (Note corkscrew on tonneau cover and wine bottle on the rack)
ps I think that is Brum Rum's lovely red 4/4 in the background.
I do find it amazing how many ultra low mileage Morgans you do see on the net/for sale.
I understand why/how the cars do not get used though...some just like having one.
I have a silly theory that mechanical things need to be used.
Not using can cause all sorts of issues IMO.
+2...
Any complex mechanical device that isn't used is degrading, especially anything organic (plastic, rubber, leather, etc) and all fluids will be useless after 2 years.
Give me a 5 year old car with 25K miles and a full service history over a "garage queen" with 2000 miles at the same age...
I think we might have had this discussion before but mileage is king....always has been, always will be. Particularly when cars become collectable.
I haven't had my Aero for that long so it's not low mileage through my own lack of use but I do own several other cars with low miles. In particular a 107 500SL 1989 with just 4000 miles.
Aside from the AC pump there have been absolutely no other issues related to lack of use. The car is as close as you can get to a brand new "old" Merc as you can get and that's what I like about it.
I don't buy the whole "lack of use will give issues" argument
I guess it comes down to whether one sees a car as being an investment or a toy to be used and enjoyed. If the intention of owning it is to sell it at a profit, then you are absolutely correct, the less you use it the better.
To me, however, it seems such a shame to buy a car that you love and then not use it in order to keep it nice for the next owner.

That is such a wonderful picture! Going on holiday to France with just aeroscreens. How cool is that?
