My 2013 M3W suffered a road going mishap and is getting a new 2014 frame and associated bits. The 2014 frame does not have the same welded in brackets for mounting the bevel box. Does that mean it gets the bevel isolation hardware? I had heard the jury is still out on whether this quiets things or not. The shop plans to throughly flush the bevel box and get the rest of the black goop out.
I am taking the opportunity to upgrade to a Centra compensator and to go with Suplex shocks front and rear. Just Another two weeks......

It should have the new BB isolator fitted ...if not have it fitted!!

Hi rolsmith , I think you are right in thinking that the bevel box can only be fitted to the latest frame with the isolation hardware . I had a new frame fitted by the factory after my original one cracked , the bevel box is now fitted with the isolating kit and there doesn't seem to be any other way of mounting it .
As to whether it makes any difference to the noise , I can't say I've noticed any difference , but I'm lucky in that mine has always been pretty quiet !

I do feel that the new frame (I also got new uprights ) has made a big difference , everything feels tighter and more precise .
The Centra compensator is also well worth while .
As for the Suplex shocks....I'm sure you will have read the various discussions on here ! I have them fitted and after a lot of fiddling around I am pleased with them the rear ones took the most sorting , but with the rough roads round here I at least no longer have the bottoming out and squirming around , although the rear is still quite firm .

I have been told by someone at the factory that the BB isolation kit is a 'waste of time'. I understand that owners of early cars are now not recommended to have the 'upgrade' but unfortunately, once it's been fitted it can't be removed and you just have to carry around that heavy & unwanted bracketry for ever.... In addition, the rear section of the bracket gets in the way of the BB drain plug.

Thanks for all the input. I had heard that the bevel isolator was a bandaid that might not work. In this case, I guess I have to have it in order to get the bevel box mounted. I will get to look at it without the body on the car so maybe something can be done about the drain plug issue.
The voltage regulator will be in the "new" location and I won't need the comfort kit as the new uprights compensate for that issue.
I will need to come up with a new mounting method for my "Love Jugs" cooling system since this frame has the welded-in triangulation instead of the bolted in cross piece.
At 8,000 miles, the rear sprocket shows some wear but is not at the replace point. I will send it out for the company that does the overlay when the time comes.
I had a set of Blockley tires on the front with about 5,600 miles on them. I am winding up with a new set of Avons against as one of the wheels was egg shaped.
I can't recommend this as a method to get your car updated as it has been down for about 4 months what with insurance hassles and the slow flow of parts from Morgan. I am really looking forward to getting the rig back!!

I ordered my set online after reading several accounts by forum members about how well they worked. On the older frames, you had to cut the standard mounting bracket in half and then use the bolt in cross piece as the mounting using the existing bolt in the cross piece.
The love jug people sent me a nice email thanking me for the purchase and said they had tried to contact Morgan but had no response.
In my case, I had made up a bracket that clamped to the bolt in cross piece mounting the fans behind the motor and just in front of the cowl. I will try to do the same when I get the rig back. I can't tell you how well they work because I had my mishap right after installing them and never got into hot weather. Search the list for love jugs and you will come up with pictures and reports of how well they work.
