I view the new Aero 8 rather like a celebrity, or super model: stunning to look at and admire but not someone you'd really want to spend a lot of time with.
I've driven a Supersports and a couple of Aero 8s and felt much the same: impressive but not really appealing.
this new super model has been developed and fine tuned, so may not be as unattractive as you assume

I've long believed that in the end BMW will be the white knight that saves Morgan, just as Mercedes AMG will save Aston Martin. Well VW bought Ducatti some time back.
The usual German competitive race then resulted in MB buying MV Agusta recently.
The M3W is near to being a motorbike right ? So they re-engineer the boxer to make a V Twin, hang a reverse off the 6 speed sequential box, install electronic paddle shifters, ABS, Traction control, shaft drive, etc. The M3W boys would be left with nothing to write about

Lol, well you're only the Vice-Chair (elect) as confirmed in the same issue. 3 pages on the Aero and £80k base price including VAT CONFIRMED in the article. Oh, and I have voted "for" you Peter, so warm up those dancing girls...

BMW engines ok until end of 2017 according to Charles' article and using a BMW diff vice the BTR one. Hood is NOT fully finished so show cars do not have them.

And according the Miscellany, the boot hinges are going to be revised to give more space in the boot.
