I've just ordered mine tonight from Amazon A woman or a book?  Sorry completely missed the thread drift here - that'll teach me to jump to conclusions based on the subject heading I of course meant to post that I have ordered an Amazon woman Phew! (Think I might have got away with it)

I spotted that too, it's a MK1 with no gussets or bolt in brace.
My Feb.2013 car has the welded in gussets and the bolt in brace.

They all go in the same place just behind the inboard top wishbone mounting.
Sometimes near side some times drivers side
I have personally seen four cracked right through. And I have probably only met 8 owners of 2012 cars.
All will fail eventually.
