Bumble is due in a couple of weeks. I mentioned the led sidelights and 3 eared spinners but my tester doesn't seem bothered by either. Here's hoping then. grin2

My Morgan has passed every MOT of the last 15 years, the first 13 it had three-eared spinners fitted, the last two with two-eared jobs. Not a single mention has ever been made of them.

Amd neither should there be - they are perfectly safe and legal if fitted correctly.

What is supposed to be the potential issue with spinners for MOTs?

As an mot tester i can confirm 2 or 3 eared spinners not an issue at all. Security of wheel fixings is ie wheel nuts or studs, or in this case spinners.

I have checked the inspection manual and no mention is made of spinners.

led side lights are fine too but must be white or predomently white, so a blue tinge is acceptable but thats about it, bright blue or any other colour is not allowed for uk mot.
