Well its all sorted out now after 3 years of pop bang smell..A proper plus 4 Supersport. Drives and goes like a new car should. No fumes no stuttering and low low emissions plus 20BHP more and goes like a mad thing. When the cam timing changes at 5500 rpm its pure music as the exhaust note changes and off she goes again, its just like a sports car !!!! This is how the car should have been in the first place. The Dyno graph shows how the car was before rectification even though it had been back to the factory and local tuners twice. It was still well down on the claimed power and torque output. The red graph shows how it is now and boy is it smoother and quieter . Now I can have an MOT
My thanks to Auto Tech in Ripley Derbyshire for their time and patients in over coming the many short comings of the original set up.
I presume this is as a result of a new ecu and tuned as per your previous blog? It is such a shame that you had to resort to these measures, this is how the cars should have been from the beginning. I would love to go down this route but I suspect that funds wont allow!
That is going to feel like a different car. While the changes low down are not the sort of thing headlines are made from, look at the power curve from 2500 to 3500,in percentage terms a huge gain and the area where in today's traffic, one spends a lot of time.
The gain overall though is the sort of thing one pays engine builders quite a lot of money for!

Bad news for; 1/ Back tyres 2/ Driving licence
Absolutely, plus look at that torque curve at around 4250. Find an open stretch of road, nail the throttle, and wow! A great result indeed. Now why couldn't MMC/Omex have got it like that from the start?
