Jays original question - Why do we buy Morgans?
Uncomfortable over long distances, not particularly weatherproof, not a particularly smooth ride, not that easy to get in and get out of, build quality is somewhat suspect.
So why buy one?
Quintessentially English, quirky, vintage driving experience, driving on a sunny warm day down a quiet B road in the countryside, makes you feel good. People wave at you, stop to talk to you. Morgan owners are generally nice people. I could go on .......
Yes.  Also they look bloody good too - I often stare at mine in the garage and I love how it looks. I have a Ford GT in my garage at the moment and I drove it down into Sussex and back on Wednesday night. It felt a big wide and fast supercar.... but it wasn't the fun my beautiful Plus 8 is.

Had mine 4 years. 19500 miles on clock. driven in france with the french owners club after joining said club. My car has soul which you can feel as you drive it and has a little bit of the men and women who built it in it. met loads of lovely people including a few racing wanabe's who get loads of fun out of the cars which it is all about.
i also pat the bonnet every day as i use it every day wet or dry. Long may it continue.
The Car is fast the sky is blue just be safe in what you do

having spent a day in PDI learning how to machine polish, next week the car will be polished and remove yours and HRH the Prince of Wales prints off the car.
The Car is fast the sky is blue just be safe in what you do

A Morgan is real fun ! very different from Aston's,Maserati's and Porsche's. You got it to a tee Ruud! Great picture, did you have the tail out a bit?

More than likely....it was very wet and slippery! (As was Adrian by then  )

Morgans are pets and many other things but not just cars !
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .
