That's certainly the case for me. It wasn't a choice between a Mog and a Boxster, but one between a Morgan and an elderly classic. I just haven't got the time, and even tho' folks go on about all the tinkering a Mog involves, apart from the occasional squirt of grease or tightenng of a screw I've not had to do anything - I've had 4 years of totally hassle free fun with my 4/4 (touch ash !!!).

Same for me too Giles. Nearly 3 years of hassle free fun.

Yup, me too, Giles. I wanted a classic 1930's roadster but I couldn't afford to buy one and needed something that had modern levels of reliability but which still afforded plenty of opportunity for tinkering if I wanted.

I am amazed the number of softtops that seem to have the hoods up permanently.
Bought for show I think. Hood down on 3 scorching days a year and complaints about being hot in the sun!
Nothing better than a winter drive wrapped up well...smiling at the onlookers who must think we are mad.
We ( Morgan drivers) know we are mad!

It never ever ceases to amaze me how mad people think we Re driving in the rain with the rood down and no one bats any eye lid if you walk down the street in the rain. Or ride a motor bike.
