As a rule of thumb if you can't drink it you shouldn't cook with it. It's a gamble - is it worth tainting the food?

Yes agree

Cider vinegar has some interesting medicinal properties though I think

Scrumpy is a variable

Leave it be for a while (not in the fridge) and come back to it.

See how it fares - if you aren't familiar with it it can be quite sulphurous - oh and potent.

We used to start a night out at RAF Locking by sharing a gallon or two of Banwell scrumpy to keep the costs down on getting merry in W-S-M

Alis wants to cook something with it but i have some doubts. What does the TM panel think?

Don't! Those alcohol breakdown products, aldehydes and esters will taint anything, other than perhaps old rollmop herring.

You could try distilling it......

Interesting new signature line, Stewart. Have you closed you Club?

Must admit I like the idea of being a Morgan owning existentialist!

I confess, I had to look one word up. To save others the time. :
paronomasiac (plural paronomasiacs). One addicted to word play or puns
