What's the best way to get to the front propshaft UJ grease nipple on a Plus 4 (2014). From underneath it's hidden away above a crossmember and my grease gun won't get on it. Remove trans tunnel trim from inside the car and cut an inspection hatch???

Possibly cut an inspection hatch...you cannot rotate the rear wheels to give better access?

Same with 4/4 sport. I couldn't work out how to do it so I asked the mechanic at the local Morgan dealer. Get a flexible hose on the grease gun, rotate the propshaft until the nipple is vertical i.e. sticking up straight up, then with a bit of fiddling you can attach the hose to the nipple. That's why you need a flexible hose. I have used this procedure for the last 3 years.

The problem is Richard it's not possible to get the connector end of the grease gun into the u/j. I've even tried grinding the connector (which is on a flexible pipe) but it still won't get in there. In desperation I've ordered one of these:

You could ring Perranwell and ask how they do it, they are always willing to impart tricks of the trade

Try jacking the rear axle up or down it will change the angle of the UJ and propshaft.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Take the nipple off and put a right angle nipple on or one that you can reach with a grease gun ?

Griffo, it's very tricky, I kind of managed it with one of my old grease guns that seems to have a slightly slimmer end than normal..even then I found it had to be just in the right spot to get any into the UJ and it was very messy. Persevere it can be done but I'd be interested if anyone has a better way.

On my Roadster I can get at it from underneath through the tunnel. On Mr Bumble I opened up a small hole between the floor boards, and with a torch can access it from directly underneath. Limit the number of strokes into the UJ's. A couple will be enough.

Hi Griffo I use one of these type adaptors for my grease gun. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-170mm-N...=item4ce42c601cAs DaveW said small hole of about 20mm under the Mog and slightly off to one side of the UJ's. Cain
