About time in my opion - if this had been avaialable as an option when I had my last car built (2014) I would have taken it - manual changes still available but the ease of an automatic when in traffic are hard to beat in my opinion. I would have welcolmed the auto in my recent 3K trip to Italy via the Passes

If this car had been available we probably wouldn't have bought Tarka..thank goodness it wasn't!

Whatever next. People will be wanting electyric door mirrors next. ooo

Seriously, it's not a must have but an option so if it broadens the appeal into other markets and for people who have leg/hip issues etc then can't be a bad thing. Love my manual though.

MOG Mag are running a story on this in the next issue, which should drop through your letterbox any day soon.

I have driven the automatic Morgan and its quite impressive with good pick up and spirited acceleration.

You can switch it to sports mode if you prefer to play.

The car was good in traffic and relaxing to drive.

The drive felt fairly smooth and well developed given that this is a chassis with a 2L engine and not an Aero which is completely different.

I can see where people are coming from when they consider an automatic box not to be in keeping with a sports car, but as other people have said it should broaden the appeal and in the end I suspect very few cars will end up being fitted with this option.

Not sure if there is a Roadster version being planned.

Could well be that some people prefer to be in a bus to get from A to B to avoid the driving experience instead of driving a traditional sports car.
People are different and I do not understand all of them
